Hello all! Yesterday, Lori and Mark Connell along with Kathy and Steve Merriam flew home all pumped up about our strategic plan for our Mi Esperanza program. We really feel like we got our entire agenda covered for the week and accomplished much. We really enjoyed getting to know Kathy and Steve. They are a great couple and we appreciate all they are doing for our program. And of course it is always great to see Mark and Lori too. The weather was quite unusual here this week, about 45 degrees at night. Since we don't have heat or air conditioning in the house, Mark was kind enough to keep the fireplace stocked with hot coils and blazing fires so we didn't freeze. Thanks Mark!!!!

Also money was donated for food so Janet and I went to Pricesmart and bought food for 6 families (the Mexico Team) who work with us at Los Pinos church of christ. We filled 4 buggies full of necessities for them. Currently, only one of the students have full support so we try to help them out when we can. We dropped off Janet at the airport today and said our goodbyes. It is always so hard to say goodbye to friends and family. We pray for safe travel for them. Today Tim is in the community of Ciudad Espana. This is a community about 45 minutes outside of town. He is there helping people pay off their homes. There are about 70 families that will benefit from this donation. Also, this week was exam week for the boys so please pray that we have good report cards next week. hahaa Looking forward to the weekend. As of now, we have a house full of boys spending the night and they are all playing man hunt in the yard. Fun Fun!!!! We are enjoying the new house. It is right across the street from the mission house. God is trulyblessing us this year and hope that even more things are accomplished through his name. Sorry to sound so boring but wanted to let you all know that things are going well and we miss you all. Good night!
